At CMU Jenn was a member of the student contemporary company, Orchesis Dance Theatre, which afforded her the opportunity to further her dance education, opening her up to styles like Modern, tribal, and even Hawaiian. While with Orchesis, Jenn also had the chance to travel and attend the American Collegiate Dance Festival. She spent several years teaching at a local studio, teaching recreational classes and ultimately focusing her teaching on the competitive students and developing a hip hop program. Once Jenn received her degree in Public Health Education and Health Promotion from CMU she moved to Charleston South Carolina. Upon moving, she became certified through the Dance Masters of America organization. She is certified in Tap, Jazz, and Modern and has also held office within the organization.
